First, you have to open the New Excel book.

Then, select the cell that you want to Format text.

Now, you have to type the text in the cell.

Go to the menu bar → click the home menu → Number options will appear in that, select Number Format.

Click the Dropdown menu of Number Format option, there you can find different options to Format the text .

Here, we have Format the text from a General Format to Accounting format.

Alternate Method:

Right-click on the cell, the popup menu gets opened in that, you can select the Format cells option.
